# row_number

Numérote la ligne courante au sein de sa partition à partir de 1.

**Syntaxe**

```sql theme={null}
row_number (column_name)
  OVER ([[PARTITION BY grouping_column] [ORDER BY sorting_column] 
        [ROWS or RANGE expression_to_bound_rows_withing_the_group]] | [window_name])
FROM table_name
WINDOW window_name as ([[PARTITION BY grouping_column] [ORDER BY sorting_column])
```

**Valeur retournée**

* Un nombre correspondant à la ligne courante dans sa partition. [UInt64](/fr/reference/data-types/int-uint).
